As a part of Seramount’s Best Companies for Working Parents award, winners may recognize a working mother and/or a working father within their organization. This year, Pillsbury—a longtime winner of the Best Companies for Working Parents—nominated Corporate counsel Tammy Chang and Intellectual Property specialist Lila Boland. Both were honored at a gala event in New York on October 25.
Tammy Chang, mother of a 2-year old, is a trusted mentor to many, while exceling at a demanding practice. Chang led the largest secondary sale in history—closing the sale of $6 billion of assets for the largest public pension plan in the U.S.
Lila Boland, a mother of four, has worked at Pillsbury for almost 19 years. For the past 10 years, Boland has managed the relationship with one of Pillsbury’s longtime banking clients. According to one Pillsbury partner, Boland has shown tremendous initiative in the office and at home—stepping in as a helping hand to others despite other demanding tasks and homeschooling her children throughout the pandemic.
