According to Latin Lawyer, Argentine cable television provider Cablevisión has issued debt notes worth $500 million in a transaction that closed June 20. Corporate & Securities partner Peter Baumgaertner and senior associate Paulo Varnieri counseled Deutsche Bank Trust Companies Americas, Deutsche Bank and Deutsche Bank Luxembourg, which acted as trustees and agents in the transaction.

Additionally, a Pillsbury team represented supply chain services company Concentrix, a subsidiary of Synnex Corporation, as it acquired India-based outsourcing firm Minacs for $420 million. Concentrix expects the acquisition to enhance its position as a leader in the Indian business process outsourcing market; the company became the largest BPO employer in India after it acquired IBM Daksh in 2013. The Minacs acquisition is Concentrix’s second-largest deal in India.

The Pillsbury team advising Concentrix was led by Corporate & Securities –Tech partner Allison Leopold Tilley, with partners Jorge del Calvo and Davina Kaile and counsel Christina Pearson; also on the team were Tax partners Dana Newman and Brian Wainwright, Antitrust & Competition senior counsel Chuca Meyer, International Trade associate Benjamin Cote and Corporate & Securities associate Corey Harris.

Lastly, Transportation Finance partners Mark Lessard and Jonathan Goldstein advised underwriters Credit Agricole and BNP Paribas in Aircastle Ltd.’s $400 million financing, announced July 21. According to The Lawyer, the term facility has a maturity of seven years and an accordion feature that allows for an addition $67.5 million in future funding. Funding of the facility will take place through several draw-downs.
