A team of Pillsbury lawyers represented Wilbur-Ellis Co., an international marketer and distributor of agricultural products, animal nutrients and specialty chemicals, in its acquisition of Nachurs Alpine Solutions Corp. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Based in Marion, Ohio, Nachurs Alpine Solutions is a specialty chemical manufacturer serving the agriculture, transportation, energy and diversified industrial sectors in North America. Once the deal is closed, the company will continue to sell its products under its signature brands.
The deal is the largest acquisition for San Francisco-based Wilbur-Ellis, which said that the purchase will allow it to enter new markets and expand its specialty chemicals presence in North America. Nachurs Alpine Solutions has more than 200 employees in more than 85 distribution terminals in the U.S. and Canada.
The Pillsbury team was led by New York Corporate partner Donald Kilpatrick and San Francisco counsel Deborah Carrillo.
