  • Defended the largest steel producer in Australia in multiple U.S. trade cases against imported steel, including against corrosion-resistant (CORE) steel, an AD review of hot-rolled steel, Section 232 exclusion requests and defending interests in different court appeals.
  • Represented one of world's largest consumer products companies in defending their interests in seeking exclusions from Section 232 duties and assisting with U.S. Customs and Border Protection compliance matters.
  • Represented the largest producer of tin cans in the U.S. against Section 232 duties on steel and aluminum, and defended them in a trade case against imports on tin mill steel from multiple countries.
  • Defended a leading supplier of chemical innovative products in case against Methylene Diphenyl Diisocyanates (MDI) from China.
  • Defended a leading manufacturer in the moulded pulp industry in a case against thermoformed moulded fiber products from China. This trade case defense included both AD and CVD (anti-subsidy).
  • Successfully defended global leader in the polyethylene teraphalate (PET) packaging industry in a U.S. case against imports of PET resin from Oman. Our advice allowed the client to obtain the lowest combined AD-CVD rate among all exporters in the four countries that were targeted by the case. Such result—including obtaining a negative CVD conclusion, a finding of no subsidies, by the U.S. Commerce Department—is a truly rare accomplishment.
  • Represented one of the largest U.S. importers of plywood products in an anti-circumvention investigation the U.S. DOC launched concerning AD and CVD duties imposed on certain hardwood plywood products from China.
  • Defended leading Japanese steel producer exporters in U.S. DOC AD reviews and in an EU AD case. The EU trade case resulted in the client receiving the lowest AD rate among all Japanese exporters.
  • Defended one of the largest steel pipe producers in Thailand against U.S. AD duties for imports of standard pipe.
  • Represented one of the world's largest producers of motor engines for all types of vehicles and products in monitoring the trade case against low-speed personal transportation vehicles from China, providing advice and counsel concerning Trump’s new tariffs, and undertaking AD margin simulation assessment for a possible trade case against outboard engines.
