Tara Shankar focuses on general corporate law matters, including mergers and acquisitions, public and private offerings, and corporate governance.

Prior to joining Pillsbury, Tara worked as a paralegal at a national law firm, where she focused on government contracts, bankruptcy & creditors’ rights, and construction litigation. She also worked as a law clerk at the National Legal Aid & Defender Association (NLADA), where she conducted legal research and drafted memoranda for a nationwide survey of indigent defense systems on behalf of the U.S. Department of Justice.
