Pillsbury advised Nordic Semiconductor, a global leader in low-power wireless connectivity solutions, on two recent strategic acquisition transactions.

On July 1, 2025, Nordic acquired its long-standing partner Memfault Inc., the market-leading cloud platform provider for large-scale deployments of connected products.

This strategic acquisition represents a significant milestone in Nordic’s transformation from a hardware supplier to a comprehensive solutions provider, further solidifying its leadership in meeting both current and emerging market needs.

Pillsbury is also advising Nordic on its acquisition of the intellectual property and core technology assets of Neuton.AI, a pioneer in fully automated Tiny Machine Learning (TinyML). TinyML enables machine learning on ultra-low-power, resource-constrained devices such as microcontrollers and embedded systems.
