In its 2021 guide, The Legal 500 United States ranked Pillsbury as a leader in 28 practices areas nationwide, spanning the firm’s litigation, regulatory and transactional practices and industries.

These strong results include seven Tier 1 or Tier 2 national rankings for M&A: Middle-Market; Outsourcing; Construction; Energy: Renewable/Alternative Power; Government Contracts; Insurance; and Aviation: Litigation and Regulation, as well as a first-time ranking for Technology Transactions and improved standing in the Antitrust, Energy: Renewable/Alternative Power, Energy: Transactions: Conventional Power, Government Contracts and Tax: Non-Contentious categories.

Of note, five Pillsbury lawyers were honored in the “Hall of Fame,” the top ranking category for individuals. These lawyers were: James Alberg (Outsourcing); John Heisse (Construction); Shaalu Mehra (Technology); Aaron Oser (Outsourcing); and Christopher Wall (International Trade). Additionally, Charles Donley (Aviation: Litigation and Regulation); Nancy Fischer (International Trade); Mark Lessard (Aviation: Finance); and Jonathan Russo (M&A: Middle-Market) were named “Leading Lawyers,” Stephen Ashley (Finance: Capital Markets); Charles Conrad (Construction); Melissa Jones-Prus (Aviation: Finance); and Meighan O’Reardon (Outsourcing); were named “Next Generation Lawyers” and Laura Jennings (Aviation: Litigation and Regulation); Jessica Nyman (Media, Technology & Telecoms: Regulatory) and Matthew Rabinowitz (International Trade) were praised as Rising Stars.
