Pillsbury advised Lionhead, a private investment firm, in leading an $80 million strategic equity financing for Kinterra Capital Corp., a private equity firm focused on investments across a broad range of sectors, including critical minerals.
Lionhead partners with world-class sponsors and operators to unlock value in essential industries, with a focus on opportunities where its deep expertise, global networks and active involvement can drive transformational growth.
Proceeds from the financing will support the planned restart of Kinterra’s Pumpkin Hollow underground mine and advance the development of the adjacent Southwest Open Pit copper project toward construction readiness. The restart of Pumpkin Hollow, anticipated within 24 months, will include a comprehensive geological resource update, leveraging advanced core scanning technology to enhance mineral identification and improve geological interpretation.
