Based in the Shanghai office, Chunbin Xu has extensive experience representing Chinese and international clients in cross-border corporate transactions (including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and greenfield investments) as well as regulatory matters (including export control, sanctions, supply chain compliance and foreign investment review).
Chunbin advises foreign clients on business expansion, structuring and various corporate transactions and regulatory matters in China, including data privacy, corporate governance, IP and technology transactions, government permit, anti-bribery & anti-corruption, and competition law. Chunbin is also experienced in advising foreign non-governmental organizations in establishing a presence and conducting activities in China.
Chunbin advises Chinese and international clients on compliance with export control and sanctions regulations, including the U.S. Export Administration Regulations and sanctions programs of the Office of Foreign Assets Control as well as China’s export control and sanctions regulations. Chunbin also advises Chinese companies on matters relating to the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States.
