A Brief History of FCC Efforts to Eliminate Illegal and Unwanted Robocalls and Robotexts

The program will include a discussion of what’s working, what may not be working and what still needs to be done to address America’s #1 nuisance. Glenn will discuss how the FCC is working with the states and industry to crack down on bad actors, steps voice and text service providers are taking to give customers more control and information to determine which calls to answer and prevent potentially illegal calls and texts from reaching consumers, and why some calling parties are not happy with those carrier controls.
