GameSquare, which recently completed the acquisition of FaZe Clan, and Matt Kalish announced the formation of a joint venture, FaZe Media, which combines the FaZe creator talent roster and non-esports assets of FaZe Clan into a creator-led IP and internet media company. Concurrently, FaZe Media closed $11 million in new investment capital from Matt Kalish, who will also become a board member of FaZe Media. A team of Pillsbury lawyers led by Corporate partner Stephen Amdur and Corporate senior associate JP Cordon advised Kalish on the transaction.
