Campari Group announced today an agreement with Pillsbury client Catalyst Spirits to acquire an initial 15% interest in Howler Head Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, otherwise known as the “Official Flavored Whiskey Partner of the UFC.”
The deal offers a medium-term route to total ownership along with obtaining exclusive global distribution rights, according to a company press release.
The Pillsbury deal team was led by Corporate partner Stephen Amdur and included Corporate associates Lana Persaud, Alex Stephanos and Juan Pablo Cordon and senior law clerk Denis O’Regan, Intellectual Property partner Edward Cavazos and senior associate Sandro Serra, Executive Compensation & Benefits partners Jessica Lutrin, Tax partner Brett Willis and Wine, Beer & Spirits partner Carrie Bonnington.
