Pillsbury advised LayerX, an AI and browser security platform, in connection with its approximately $205 million acquisition by Akamai Technologies, Inc., a cybersecurity and cloud computing company that powers and protects business online.

LayerX provides a browser security platform that adds protections to the browsers enterprises already use, giving security teams greater visibility into how users interact with web content, prompts, file uploads, SaaS applications and AI tools.
