Pillsbury served as legal counsel to longtime client NTT DATA, a leading digital business and IT services company, in a definitive agreement to acquire global MuleSoft consulting firm leader, Apisero, in an effort to become the preferred digital innovation partner in the market.

Upon the closing of the deal Apisero is expected to bring over 1,500 certified MuleSoft consultants and 500 Salesforce consultants to NTT DATA’s digital transformation services team. The new additions will have access to NTT DATA’s innovative resources including a $3.6 billion average annual research and development investment.

The deal team was led by Corporate and M&A partner Patrick Devine and included Corporate partner Veronica Nunn, Tax partner Julie Divola, Executive Compensation & Benefits partner Jessica Lutrin and counsel Justin Krawitz, Insurance partner Alex Lathrop and Intellectual Property partner David Jakopin. Also assisting on the transaction were Antitrust & Competition partner Michael Sibarium and attorney Evan Storm, Employment special counsel Rebecca Carr Rizzo and Corporate associates Yanet Cordero, Kendy Chan and Shade Oladetimi.
