Pillsbury San Diego-based Corporate associate Ryan Minarovich has been named a finalist in the San Diego Business Journal's "40 Next Top Business Leaders Under 40" Awards.

In its 2021 awards, the publication honors professionals—leaders, change makers and innovators—who are creating an impact and leaving a positive mark on the San Diego community.

Minarovich represents clients ranging from pre-seed startups to multinational corporations in the technology, hospitality and health care space. He focuses his practice on a wide variety of matters including health care, FDA regulation, contracting, corporate formation, structure and governance within emerging growth and startup companies across a range of industries. Minarovich has represented clients on HIPAA and business associate contracting, complex transactional contracting, board and shareholder agreements, health information technology infrastructure and other corporate and health care needs.

Additionally, Minarovich has extensive experience in leisure and hospitality matters, representing managers, operators and owners of hotels on a broad array of legal and contracting needs. He represented Pacific Hospitality Group on its sale of the Bacara Resort in Santa Barbara which won the “Single Asset Transaction of the Year” at the prestigious Americas Lodging Investment Summit Awards.

Prior to Pillsbury, Minarovich was the General Counsel at a global health care technology company and a co-founder of an FDA firm focused on mobile medical application laws and regulations.
