Leading aerospace, defense, communications and sensing markets provider, EMCORE Corporation, acquired the Fiber Optic Gyroscope (FOG) and Inertial Navigation Systems business of KVH Industries, Inc. with the corporate and financial advisement of a Pillsbury team led by Corporate partner Jim Masetti and counsel Drew Simon-Rooke and Finance partners Joel Simon and Veronica Relea.
The all-cash transaction totaled approximately $55 million including all outstanding assets and liabilities along with intellectual property and an Illinois-based production facility.
