A team of Pillsbury lawyers, led by Corporate and M&A partner Patrick Devine, served as legal counsel to leading digital business and IT services company, NTT DATA, in signing a definitive agreement to acquire Aspirent, an Atlanta-based data, analytics and advisory firm.

According to the company’s press release, more than 230 data advisors and technologists from Aspirent will join NTT DATA's digital transformation services team—reinforcing its data engineering resources across key data partners.

This acquisition follows the company’s most recent acquisition of Apisero which closed three weeks ago.

In addition to Devine, the Pillsbury deal team included Corporate partner Veronica Nunn, Tax partner Julie Divola, Executive Compensation & Benefits partner Jessica Lutrin, counsel Justin Krawitz and senior associate Kevin Meil, Insurance partner Alex Lathrop and Intellectual Property partner David Jakopin. Also assisting on the transaction were Antitrust & Competition partner Michael Sibarium and attorney Evan Storm, Employment special counsel Rebecca Carr Rizzo and Corporate counsel Paul Casas, associates Shade Oladetimi and Jessica Dabiri and senior law clerk Larissa Roche.
