A global team of Pillsbury attorneys led by San Francisco Corporate partner Jenny Liu represented China Hengrui Co., Ltd., in its acquisition of Engenuity, a UK-based composite design and analysis company. According to the Daily Journal, the deal marks the entrance of Engenuity into the Chinese market. The company will continue as a business unit of China Hengrui.

Founded more than 25 years ago, Engenuity has many inventions and patents and has worked with manufacturers such as Bentley, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar Land Rover and Nissan. Materials and equipment manufacturers are also among Engenuity’s customers.

Along with Liu, the Pillsbury team included Rosa Chen in San Francisco, Carrie Bai in Beijing, and Samuel Pearse, Steven Farmer, Scott Morton, Caron Gosling, Sukhi Walia and Anne Fairpo in London.
