Pillsbury Insolvency & Restructuring partner Patrick Potter has been selected for membership in the exclusive International Insolvency Institute, a selective nonprofit organization of leading practitioners, academics, judges and regulators in the international insolvency field. The III has 350 members from more than 45 countries. Since its inception, the institute has made significant contributions to the development and improvement of fair and effective insolvency laws and practices around the world.

Potter leads Pillsbury’s Washington, DC and Northern Virginia Insolvency & Restructuring teams. He handles transaction-avoidance disputes, distressed real estate and technology transactions, chapter 11 proceedings, restructurings, workouts and recovery efforts in state and federal courts, including federal bankruptcy court. His experience encompasses representing debtors and creditors in complex airline, hospital and hotel bankruptcy proceedings across the U.S., disputes involving foreclosure statutes, and brokerage, construction and sale agreements.
